| To provide my clients with the best real
estate service possible drawing on my vast experience and knowledge
of the real estate business. I interact very well with all parties
involved in the real estate process, thus enabling a very smooth
stress-free transaction. My first step is to clearly explain to the
seller or buyer what they can expect from me and the real estate
process. Step two is to advise my client on the best way to buy or
sell a home. Sellers are very impressed by my successful marketing
system. My innovative real estate systems provide positive results
in a professional manner. I have adapted to the changes the real
estate industry has gone through. I have kept up with the latest
technology that has revolutionized our industry. My use of the current
technologies has enabled my clients to have an advantage in the market
place, whether they are buying or selling a home. I go the extra
mile to make sure my clients are satisfied and well taken care of. |

My Real Estate career began in June
1986 at Pearl Properties. My title was Office Manager/Property
Manager. I assisted a dozen agents in their day-to-day office and
communication needs. I used my effective communication skills to
deal with investors, contractors, settlement attorneys, loan officers,
appraisers, and other realtors. My first week on the job I reorganized
the accounting records using a simple spreadsheet. I then encouraged
my employer to use the emerging computer technology available at
the time to computerize our office. I designed and implemented
several programs (using databases and spreadsheets) to simplify
our work. The implementation of these programs allowed our office
to become more productive and efficient. Tasks that use to take
hours now only took minutes to complete. I often worked very long
hours taking work home or staying late at the office. My property
management duties were equally demanding, since I was responsible
for the management of hundreds of foreclosure properties in MD,
DC and VA. I also managed privately owned properties and maintained
80% occupancy rate in more than 40 units. My employer provided
me with one assistant to under take all the above activities. During
this time I was sent to Ohio and Connecticut to set up branch offices
and train the staff.
In 1989, I decided to get my real estate
license in Maryland. I also obtained a certificate for appraising
from the American
Association of Appraisers. In 1990, I obtained my real estate license
for the District of Columbia. I learned the real estate trade from
one of the top agents in Maryland "Pearl Phillips"(now
retired). Learning the trade from a top producer was very beneficial
and helped me develop into a successful realtor. I take many real
estate courses to stay on top of current/future trends/laws and
major changes in the industry. In all my years of providing real
estate
services I have never received a single complaint.

My family lived in Columbia, MD for
several years and then we moved to Silver Spring, MD in 1980. I have
lived
in Silver Spring ever since. I graduated from Springbrook High School
in 1983 and then I attended Montgomery College in 1984-1986. In 1986,
I began working for Pearl Properties a Real Estate company in Silver
Spring, MD. I impacted the company immediately recouping thousands
in lost revenue, which I found on my first week on the job. In 1989,
I obtained my real estate license, and then in 1995 I obtained my
Brokers license. My mother "Pearl" the owner/broker of
Pearl Properties retired signing over the company to me her son.
This family owned and run business has been a success all these years
due to our many attributes (i.e., professionalism, experience, integrity,
honesty, creativity, trustworthy, reliable/dependable, morals, high
standards, knowledge of industry, and a trend setter). When I was
13 years old I began helping my mother in her real estate business,
but I was not an employee at the time. I gained some very good experience
from a very young age. |
